Shot at a industrial area near the harbor in Hamburg, Germany.
In the background one can see the cranes building the new HafenCity. Also, parts of the famous silhouette like the St. Michaelis church and the Speicherstadt are visible. Suttle HDR-effect with 3-stop bracketing, combined in Photoshop, toned with Photomatix and some color corrections. EDIT: Finally a reprocessed version of my best received work here. I wasn't happy with the light gradient on the latern and the overall quality. Sadly I haven't saved the tonemap-settings, but I had a 240dpi version of the tonemapped image around. What I did: I loaded the 0ev exposure image into a second layer in photoshop and set it to 'Soft Light'. I then added a layer mask and created a gradient to mainly affect the silhouette and latern. |
